Hi Rachel, Indeed I saw them filming water voles on springwatch - it's always good to see them on the TV. I thought it was interesting that it took 3 days to film them.
Hi Anne, I do enjoy my lunch breaks (probably more than my working day) - seeing warblers, water voles and hearing the occasional cuckoo. I'm always suprised by the number of people who have lunch at their desks when all this is right next to them.
You must eat a lot of apples!
ReplyDeleteDid you see them filming water voles on Springwatch? They put a stake (possibly a wooden skewer) through an apple core so they couldn't take it away.
You must really look forward to lunch! It seems that last vole is ready for his close up.

I've thought about a stake for my apple bits. Keep meaning to rig one up.
